Bag ‘n’ Shoes: Modalu Crossbody Twiggy in Berry and L.K. Bennett Dale Pointed Flats

I am all about the pointed flats this year – last year I was dipping my toe in very gingerly, but 2014 is the year I’m going full pelt into the trend!

It’s hard to say which my favourites are, but if you held a water pistol to my suede I’d probably go for L.K. Bennett’s gorgeous Dale flats.

Priced at £150, these beauties come in navy (like mine), a lighter blue, and red. I just love the nautical look of the gosgrain ribbon!

I paired it with this ultra handy berry coloured crossbody Twiggy bag from Modalu, which I bought in their sale. You can still get a great range of different Twiggy bags on Modalu’s site, priced £79 each. (I love the Sky Blue Mix version!)

The Twiggy is such a simple, grab-and-go style bag – completely unfussy with just one large central pocket. Perfect for days when all you need are keys, a purse, your phone and maybe a lipstick!

Plus, the addition of the deep purple makes this an all-year kind of combo and shows how versatile the Dale’s nautical stripes can be – you don’t have to save it for just spring or summer. This darker plum works perfectly with the navy and white to bring the shoes into autumn and even early winter, depending on your climate!

Find the Dale pointed flats at L.K. Bennett here. (You can also buy these from Next, here.) See the range of Twiggy crossbody bags at Modalu here.

Thanks – I love them too! They’re from Next and very reasonably priced – although you have to go down an entire shoe size to get them to fit right!

How big is your closet FFF? :- P I think we must start a blog intitled “Get What FFF Wore” or …” FFF’s closet: an insight into a British Girl passion for accessories” 😉

I’m sad to say that just from where I’m sitting I can see 50 pairs of shoes, and there are two more cupboards in another room with them… plus more stored away in their boxes! I seriously need to downsize!
