Try something new whenever you can: Silverstone F1 Testing

Every once in a while, it’s good to do something you never would have considered before – try something completely different. Which is why I was happy to tag along with a couple of friends who wanted to go to the F1 testing last week at Silverstone!

I didn’t know much about Formula 1 before I went, which meant there was plenty of opportunity to learn during the day – and my friend, who is a big fan, was more than happy to oblige!

It was a great day, although Silverstone is incredibly windy! We got to watch many of the big teams testing out new equipment – and new concept tyres, and it was great fun to people watch as well. Some of the cameras that were toted along were incredible!

The best part by far was the end, when we were allowed access to the pit stop, and could oogle at some of the older cars, and see the teams working in their garages. We even spotted David Coulthard posing for some photos! And, at the end, we got to walk along the starting area, and I even posed for an impromptu bag ‘n’ shoes photo on the finish line. I’m going to say this is probably the only bag and shoes photo on the Silverstone finish line on the internet, hah ha! Talk about exclusive – don’t say I don’t treat you guys to the best in fashion accessory blogging!
