Do you guys remember that silly song Lily the Pink? Maybe it’s just because my mum was a bit of a guitar toting folk singer in her youth, but I used to sing that song alllll the time. Lily the Pink was, of course, the saviour of the human race – so therefore it makes total sense as to why I’ve fallen head over heels for every Mulberry Lily ever made in pink (and there are a lot…)

This is the Lily in blush – a bit too bright baby pink for me, but currently on sale at Bicester and other outlets for £525. Then there’s the gorgeous raspberry-coloured Lily, on sale at Mulberry.com, for £525 as well… But those two weren’t really kicking it for me, and my passion for pink started to get out of control.

I love a bit of hot pink, so when I saw this ASOS prom skirt I snapped it up, and paired it with my Mulberry flats (only pink on the inside, but I know it’s there!). (Also pictured is the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Rose, Rouge Dior 565 (Vogue), and Dior nail varnish 671 in Graphic Berry.

But it didn’t end there…

Then there were the gorgeous Nina Ricci macarons in their cute box from Laduree… That’s right. It wasn’t long before it was boiling over into food too. And home baking…

You can buy electric cake makers that churn these babies out from places like Lakeland. They take about five minutes from start to finish, which is INCREDIBLY dangerous. No one should be that close to home made cake.

And then there’s old school butterfly cakes!

All of which led to this… A Mulberry Lily in plaster pink wrinkled patent with rose gold hardware. ROSE GOLD! I love it! I’ve been a fan of rose gold for years, and it seems like this year is having a bit of a rose gold moment. Nice.
