This week, the Duchess of Cambridge began her early years initiative in earnest, at the Ely and Careau Children’s Centre in Cardiff. Part of her ensemble was a Zara leopard print pleated skirt, which was on sale for £9.99, but sold out almost immediately.

If you were after pleated leopard print skirts, though, I have plenty for you! Apparently this is the must-have fashion item of the season, which I had no idea about… And, because it’s so popular, there are skirts in a variety of different price ranges as well, from £34 up to £169!

My Ultimate Halloween Makeup Tips and Critiques

Halloween is nearly here, and while everyone else is dishing up tutorials to transform your face into sexy versions of whatever, I’m here to dish out some truth. I’m not going to show you how to do your makeup this Halloween, I’m going to show you how not to do it. Learn from these mistakes from a beauty expert. That’s me, it’s my blog, so I’m the expert right now. Watch me as I skilfully dissect some so-called iconic looks to give praise where it is due, but most importantly, to point out so big mistakes so you don’t fall into the same trap…

Captain “Pazuzu” Howdy, The Exorcist

I think it’s great that even as a Captain, Pazuzu is not afraid to experiment with some fierce looks. All I’m saying is that using eyeshadow to define your teeth is a bit too much even for the evening. But that contouring is really really good.

For you, I recommend: Colgate toothpaste, to keep those teeth shining pearly white.

French Sole Press Day

You all know I love my flats – specifically French Sole flats! So I was thrilled to get an invite to the French Sole press day this September!

What to wear if not my trusty classic leopard print French Sole flats?!

I love the new design of the interior of the flats – the branding has been updated with a new slick font, and the beige leather with gold text looks amazing. And I love these cute Japanese style cat faces!

Kawaii, no? These sweet little shoes have such a great contrast between the royal blue velvet and the lemony yellow design.

The classic ponyhair designs with animal prints remain a firm favourite – the contrasting trims for all of these are so chic!

I think some of my favourite shoes here are the studded ones below – I just love the quilted effect.

More cat flats! These ones have a cheery expression, don’t they? And the gold and pink is just beautiful.

Classic patent crocs – these are really handy as well as gorgeous. Whenever it rains I like to break mine out, because they’re so hardy against the puddles!

Check out these beautiful whimsical designs! I love this secret garden styling too!

I love the style of having two different designs on your flats. This black swan style is dreamy!

Charlotte Tilbury Stars-In-Your-Eyes Palette

I’m a massive fan of Charlotte Tilbury, particularly her eyeshadow palettes – and the words ‘limited edition’ always have me clicking on the checkout button so fast I’m sure I look like a woman possessed. Last year I bought the Instant Eye Palette as soon as it launched, which was a gorgeous array of nudes, browns, peaches and silvers which you could use to create looks called Day Eye, Desk Eye, Date Eye, and Disco Eye.
