The summer sales are in full swing, so I’ve been indulging in a little retail therapy. I decided to pick out some items from the sale at Zara in the style of the Duchess of Cambridge – because, why not? We know Kate loves a good sale, so I’d imagine she’s done a fair bit of browsing herself! But, what would she pick out from the current range?

First off, I love this lace coat, down to £69.99. Very garden party, right? Then how about this pop of colour courtesy of zipped round neck coat, also £69.99? (I have to admit, this one definitely caught my eye!) There’s also this blazer, down to £39.99, which looks very much like a navy one Kate wore at the Olympics.

On the middle row is a pretty crochet top similar to one Kate purchased from Warehouse, now down to £17.99. And how about this leather jacket, in the style of the brown suede jacket she’s been pictured in, now down to £89.99? Your summer style wouldn’t be complete without a Breton-style top, and Zara has this organic cotton version for just £7.99, in black and white.

Finally, I couldn’t resist picking out some classic Kate shoes. Suede booties are a must in everyone’s wardrobe, and this pair is now £25.99, while nude courts are still going strong – and if you haven’t already got a pair, you might consider these for just £29.99.
