Friday Lust List: SW Corkswoon Wedges in Bisque
Any self-respecting Duchess of Cambridge fan like myself should have a clear opinion on two of her most divisive shoe choices: the ubiquitous nude L.K. Bennett Sledges, and the blue suede Corkswoons from Stuart Weitzman. Personally, I love (and own!) both pairs, so when I was idly browsing Stuart Weitzman’s EU site and saw that there were a bisque pair on sale, I jumped at the chance to nab them!

We all have our favourite designers we like to lust after – for dreamy dresses and pretty scarves I love Temperley, for handbags and shoes I love Mulberry, and for structured basics and quirky jewellery I love McQ! I always have a look at The Outnet’s range when I get a chance, and so when I spotted this gorgeous navy skirt I had to share it!
Friday Lust List: Boden’s On Point!
I’m starting a regular feature to showcase some awesome items I’ve come across on my online travels. First up is an item from Boden, which has seriously stepped up its shoe game in the past couple of seasons. I already own a stunning pair of pointed flats from A/W14, so I was keen to see what they had up their sleeves for summer!

French Sole SS15 Press Day
Last week I was invited to pop along to the French Sole press day for spring / summer 2015, held at the beautiful Brown’s Hotel in London! Needless to say, I was in shoe heaven – kudos to creator Jane Winkworth and her team for creating some fantastic collections for next year. There were three main themes for next year’s French Sole selection, and by far the most feminine and romantic was Floral Daze.

If you follow my blog you’ll know I love Next for their accessible fashion, Mulberry for their British design, and Hush for comfort and style. So, when there’s no surprise that one of my go-to outfits recently has been a combination of all three!
2014: The Year of the Cape
If you’re like me, there are probably loads of fashion styles you love but would never dare to try out. I’m a sucker for hats but I rarely wear them because they seem so ostentatious unless you’re going to a wedding or another formal event. Equally, I love a good cape, but apart from one very brief affair with a navy ASOS cape that ended up covered in dog fluff, I didn’t own any… Until this autumn, that is!
