It’s my 400th post, so to celebrate, I thought it was time for a very special edition of bag ‘n’ shoes, featuring two of my favourite brands: Mulberry and French Sole!

Always go full brogue
You learn something new every day. I didn’t know this, but there are degrees of brogueness…
This style is called the full brogue with wingtips, if you want to be all technical about it… I love brogues and have this style in navy from French Sole (available in black here), and in nude from Dune (available in various colours here). There’s just something really awesome about a nice pair of brogues!
What about you? Do you like to go full brogue?

A/W 14 approaches: ankle boot time!
It’s fast approaching my favourite season of the year: autumn! Although we’re still deep in summer, the recent thunderstorms here have turned my mind to wet-weather footgear, and first on my shopping list for the new season is definitely ankle boots!
FFF’s Guide to Marseille: Bag ‘n’ Shoes Edition
Holiday packing: the sunglasses edition!
Don’t worry about your passport, your tickets and your itinerary – that’s all deadly boring. When it comes to packing for a holiday, my favorite thing to consider are the accessories!

(Notting Hill Nude lipstick, Rimmel / Odeion clutch in indigo, Oroton / DKNY 4109 sunglasses, c/o sunglasses-shop.co.uk / Tickle My France-y nail varnish, OPI / Blue leather bracelet, Next)
That’s why I picked out these amazing black cat eye sunnies from DKNY from sunglasses-shop.co.uk. Cat eye shades are such a classic shape – they’re stylish without being too trendy, and you can wear them with everything from a swimming costume on the beach to a maxi dress at the bar.
I love sunglasses-shop.co.uk because you can actually search for your shades by frame shape, as well as the usual brand and colour options. As well as cat eye sunglasses, you can search for Aviator style, butterfly, oval, rectangle, retro, visor, Wayfarer and more! (Should I admit this…? I honestly didn’t realise that there were that many different styles!)
These awesome shades come from the DKNY range – this style comes in tortoise, leopard and black (pictured), and is a best seller (look for DKNY 4109). The biggest seller in the DKNY range is the 4084 – an elegant, more rounded cat eye shape that comes in black and tortoise. Also, check out the DKNY 4096, which is featured in the campaign with Cara Delevingne! You can’t beat a bit of DKNY while you’re lounging by the pool, can you?!
I’ll be taking these gorgeous shades with me to Marseille, so expect some modeling shots live from France later next week!

Bag ‘n’ Shoes: Modalu Dickens Clutch and McQ Suede Pointed Flats
Remember the big black leather Modalu Dickens tote I bought in the sale earlier in the year? The cute horse head envelope wallet is detachable, so I couldn’t resist taking it out with my suede McQ flats, also from the winter sale!
Let’s drink to Lily the Pink
Do you guys remember that silly song Lily the Pink? Maybe it’s just because my mum was a bit of a guitar toting folk singer in her youth, but I used to sing that song alllll the time. Lily the Pink was, of course, the saviour of the human race – so therefore it makes total sense as to why I’ve fallen head over heels for every Mulberry Lily ever made in pink (and there are a lot…)
Bag ‘n’ Shoes: Next Two Part Pointed Flats and Navy and White Striped Shopper
Summer for me is always nautical. I love nautical stuff, as I’m sure you’ve cannily realised from my previous posts. But you don’t have to spend a fortune on trends to get something stylish and practical, and one of my favourite places for affordable fashion is Next!
Bag ‘n’ Shoes: Mulberry Metallic Mushroom Lily and Stuart Weitzman Minx Wedges

This is a bit of an unscheduled post – I have a load of bag ‘n’ shoe combos ready to go, but as I liked this outfit so much on Sunday I wanted to share! This was the Tootsie dress by Marc by Marc Jacobs, rented from Girl Meets Dress. This is the ultimate hedging-your-bets baby shower dress – perfect if you don’t know whether it’s a boy or a girl! Paired with the metallic mushroom Lily from Mulberry and Stuart Weitzman’s Minx wedges, it’s a nice, summery outfit!
