Summer for me is always nautical. I love nautical stuff, as I’m sure you’ve cannily realised from my previous posts. But you don’t have to spend a fortune on trends to get something stylish and practical, and one of my favourite places for affordable fashion is Next!

These cute two part pointed flats come in yellow and black for £22 here, and this zipped navy and white tote bag is £20 here. My favourite part about the tote bag is the awesome rope style handles, which work really well with the nautical theme too.

The flats are cute, but the yellow suede is probably going to get dirty quickly, so beware of long seaside walks! Also, the sizing is very very generous – I’m usually a 7, but I sized down to a 6 for these, and they’re still slightly roomy…
